Arch Student Interested in CNC (PLEASE HELP)

I'm interested in doing some simple CAD designs and finding someone with a shop bot cut them for me. Mostly I am interested in this for class projects. We have to design furniture and I am working with the professor to allow me to use CNC for the projects, yet our university does not have a CNC machine. I was thinking that maybe a shopbot owner/hobbist would like to help me out?

Let me know if this is possible. The assignment would be a simple design of a table that gets cut on the shop bot and can be pieced together -- a little like those balsa wood dinasours that you use to buy at the drug store.
