I just finished reloading my SB control software then connected to the internet and downloaded the most current version shown, which is Ver. 3.5.14 dated 10/28/08. I then opened up my Owner's Manual and noticed that the CD is labeled Ver. 3.5.5 created and last modified on 19/11/07, a year earlier. Doesn't make sense so now I'm not sure if I've gone backwards or if I should reload the original disk. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks, Gerry

Use the new version 3.5.14.
That is the latest and greatest.
Forget 3.5.5.

Version 3.5.14 is the latest (most current) if your running a PRS a PRT Alpha or a PR Standard with a G4 update.

Gerry...
3.5.14 is the latest. It is most likey 9 small versions later than 3.5.5. The dots are not decimals, just version number separators. First Number (3) = Major version number. Second number (5)= Usually significant upgrade number. Third number (5....14) = minor upgrade (bug fix) number.
If you look on the SB download page the history of the versions the improvements are listed by version. You can always look on the version history to see what is the latest and greatest.

Duh, thanks Gary!
Now we all know why Gerry has been hoping to find a "Shopbot for Dummies" book :-) You're right, I was looking at the number 14 and seeing it in decimals format. Hey, maybe whoever writes that book could use me as a test subject.
