I have a Nike trophy that needs a case. I am to cut foam in the shape of it. but I have a 3d file of the trophy but I need a negative of it a pocket. how to get that?

steve if you have a 3d file (.stl) it can be modeled in a negative in aspire, if i can help we can try

I have the stl. is it possible to get a model I can use in cut3d?

When you cut the file cant you simply scale the Z -1.0000 ??

Am I over simplifying?

yes we can out put a .stl for machining in cut 3d

file looks good it will take a bit to test it but we can do this!!

I am not good at visualizing in 3d. so I doubt I could draw well in it.
