I was real happy with how this one turned out
Wood is Pine
Stain is Golden Oak
Finish is polyurethane
My thanks to Shopbot for the Machine, To Vectric for Aspire and to Vector Art for the image.

Beautiful. That has to be one of the nicest examples of 3-D carving I've seen. Very nicely detailed.

Carl, that looks fantastic, great job on the carving and the finish! Would it be OK for us to post the images in the Vector Art 3D gallery?

Did you make any adjustments in Aspire to make things stand out? Or is that the non edited file from vector art 3D?
Just wondering? I am just starting to do some 3D carving and have a few files purchased from them. I have tried a few, they look good but yours really jumps out. looks great

Kevin,
I had to reduce the depth in z to keep from cutting thru so I actually lost some detail. To make it stand out I put the stain on real heavy and wiped it down on the high spots, leaving as much as possible in the low spots and sharp corners.
