While cutting a file my computer lost contact with the Bot, and stopped cutting.I had to shut everything down and restart computer. Was wondering if I can reposition the cutter where it stopped cutting, rezero and start the file where it stopped. Start on the same line.
Any help or suggestions appreciated,
Thanks,
Roger.

Hi Jack,
thank you for your prompt answer. Exactly what I required. I was going to do a search but had no idea what to search for.
Once again thanks, away out now to try it.
Roger.

The only reason i knew it was because i had to ask the same question myself long ago after my laptop had become unplugged and was running on the batteries. 5 hours into a 3d carving it quit. I have a habit of checking my long 3d carving files every 30 minutes or so and i jot down the line its running at the time so i can at least have that to go back to in case of a failure.
I think there is a log file somewhere you can turn on that might give you line info but i'm not sure.
Be aware that someone posted this warning already that when you restart your file have the bit z'ed and close to where it stopped. You stand the chance of dragging the bit across your material if you don't.
If you forget again (like i do) search for "resuming a file" or "restarting a file".
