I ran this routine recently for the first time and it worked. I got my proximity switches lined up in the right places. What took several hours to figure out is that the "right' place is exactly .5000" from where you want your table zero to be.

Is this adjustable? And for the particularly code challenged, where does it define this in the xyzero file?

Ben,

yes, you do want to adjust those values. It's in the 'my_variable.sbc' file found in the 'c:\sbparts\custom\' folder; look for '&my_XYzeroOffsetX' and '&my_XYzeroOffsetY' variables... that is if you use a recent release of SB3 though...

Ben,
You kinda did things backwards, which is totally understandable with your 1st experience with the limit switches. Download (or read your paper) manual for your tool & the section on setting up the prox switches. There is also a 'ShopBot Setup' Virtual Tool in SB3 that walks you through setting up your proximity switches, practically automating the whole process.
