Does anyone use BobCAD v22 and BobART with your router? I build 3D signs.
Thanks!
Wayne,
Have you seen previous posts with the dis-satisfaction with Bobcad? For the most part it's considered as bogas.
Like many others I gave it a try. No NO NO!
Ditto !
I have BobCAD v21 and it's just a pile of junk compared to other, even cheaper programs.
Don't waste your money, no matter what the sales force at BC tells you. You will not be happy.
Good Luck

Joe,
Now don't be hasty.
I want all my competition to use BobCAD.

Wayne,
Mine (V22) is running after a long phone conversation with BobCad Tech Support. You will need to call them and have them straighten it out with you while on the phone. I did and was able to get a simple square and circle to cut correctly where as I was unable to prior to the Tech assist. I have not spent any time with it since.

Bill,
What I'd like to see is some photo's of 3D carving done by one of our group. I'd be surprised.

Thanks guys, you confirmed my suspicions.
I simply tried to download the demo(the download failed) and the next morning I was getting fast talking spiel type sales calls. I think they called 5 times. The first guy offered me a "today only" special of $1200 for v22 and bobart. The next guy wanted to "help me out" and sell the same thing for $500. That's no way to do business.
Anyway, I'm checking out Rhino now. I can't afford Enroute or ArtCAM but Rhino is looking pretty good so far.
Lucky, Lucky, Lucky, you didn't loose your money.
Wayne, your not through with these guys yet. They'll be calling back.

I got BobCAD 19 free with a previous router. I even got a bunch of useless tutorial CD's. They even offered me a free upgrade to V20 but I told them not to waste my time.
You couldn't pay me to use BobCAD. But I think Joe should be using it. ;^)

Joe,
BobCad 3D photos... commin' right up. It's gonna be a 3D photo of the box it came in unless you can wait a couple years or more.
Wayne,
Joe is right.... "they'll be BAAaaaack"! Phew! I thought you already purchaced it.
