I've been working diligently on the software that I discussed in some other threads here. I'm pretty much on track with the original 30-45 day estimate I made where you will have "something" to start kicking the tires on, albeit not a finished product ready for sale.

Check out my latest release update on my forum:

Great work so far Mitch! Will you be supporting blind dadoes? What tool pathing features will be supported? Ramping, lead-ins, tabs, onion skinning etc.?

Hi Les -
Blind dadoes will be there, as well as pocket holes, in the first official release. As far as tool-pathing features, the onion skinning will be included, but the other items will be on the to do list. You can re-order the cuts, view and edit the cuts on individual pieces, as well as automatically generating the cuts on components based on your joinery selections.

Some other nice stuff is showing all measurements in either metric or imperial ( inches and fractions ) format based on your default selection. (for example, you enter "4 1/2" and the system stores 4.5, yet displays 4 1/2"...and vice versa)

Right now I'm working out the kinks on Flip operations, so that I can accurately cut the blind dadoes...

More to come...
