Started carving a simple sign: "ARTISTIC". Toolpathed the letters on Artcam. BOT shows the entire file is there and will preview cut it just fine. After file starts cutting for real, the machine suddenly stops about line 1690 after carving three letters. Reloaded an older sign of 30 minutes carving duration and had no problem. Have repathed the new sign letters and different versions many times, checked all parameters on Artcam and reloaded Shopbot softeware. Machine still will not carve more than several of the letters before halting. Both Artcam and Bot software say there is nothing wrong with the file. Old files can be downloaded through Artcam and tranferred to Bot computer and run with no problem. Any suggestions? Machine is well grounded and the older files seem to work fine. So does Shobbot's logo. It makes no difference where the file is placed on the table and there is no mechanical interference. New files (today) will not run. Can send a file if someone wants to aircut it. Thanks, Reese.
