USB to Serial Adapter

Which USB to serial adapter is ShopBot recommending now? I have the IOGEAR GUC232A. Is this still the adapter of choice?

Yes. If your controller still has a serial port on it, then the IOGear is the converter of choice. The newer SB controllers now take USB directly, without a converter.

I don't know what they are recommending but I bought one from Radio Shack this week. It works fine.

I dont know, and I have already threw away the package. It is black and it was in a black and gold package. Hope that helps.
