First off I have a Buddy and not a 4' x 8' machine. I want to make multiple parts on a 24" x 32" sheet of plywood. I drew out the part in PartWorks which is about a 3" x 5" rectangle. When I drew it up I selected a material size of 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".

How do I lay out say 24 or more of these same pieces on a larger sheet? Is there a step in the software that aligns everything or optimizes the most parts you can get on a sheet? Do I highlight the vectors, copy / paste them into a new PW file with a larger material size set up?

Hi Tim,

If you go to 'Edit - Material Size' you can change your material size to 24" x 32".
You can then move your part to the bottom left corner (if it isnt there already) and use the Array Copy command to create multiple copies. 'Array Copy' is the 5th icon on the second line of the 'Edit Vectors' group on the drawing tab.
