Well this followed me home from the Jamboree and I just finished installing it on my PRT.

I think I'm envious. That looks like a big improvement over the old style. How much and is it easier to adjust for vertical?

The price was $1295.00. In this photo you can see some black allen screws on the mounting plates you can use to adjust the Z for square to the table.

In looking at the old Z I was surprised to see how much wear their was on the rails. With the new Z it’s harder metal grooved rails, should be no wear at all.

Ron,
Thank you for the info. Hmmm... I'm very tempted.

Very nice setup, it reflects a big improvement over the previous designs.

This new style Z... does it have (or perhaps would it be an easy mod) to spring load the dust foot so when the Z raises up high the dust foot would drop down when it hits the gantry rails of a PRT Alpha?

Where is the link to the product on the Shopbot Site? I thought I saw it and couldn't find it.

I still need to do something with mine to get 2 Z's but have been unable to derive a good dust foot solution that allows both Z's to fit and still allows full upward travel for my Z axis.
