I want to use a PC 690 Router vice the 7518. The motor dia for the 690 is 3.7 (inches) and the 7518 is 4.2 (inches). Any ideals for an adapter or means of making this work??
Thanks

Kasey, I have seen a Makita Router mounted to a PC 7518 router mount. They used a peice of PVC Pipe and split it then inserted it into the PC 7518 holder. It worked perfectly. I think I have a photo of it somewhere if you want to see what it looks like.

I just ordered a horizontal mortise table from these guys, and I will be using a PC690. The table is standard for a 7518, so they sell an adapter.. My guess is that this would work PERFECT!

Actually I just checked, and this same place sells adapters for:
PC690, Makita RF1101, Hitachi M12VC and Ridgid 2930...

Looks like all of these routers could be simply adapted to fit the shopbot mount for a 7518

Shopbot Folks: Maybe you could cut a deal with woodhaven to sell their product!

Kasey, I can't find the photos. It looks like it was a piece of 4inch PVC pipe that was split lengthwise. I'm not sure if it was schedule 40 or 80 pipe. The differences are the wall thickness. Any of the big box stores should have it. It comes in 10ft sections so you will have plenty for additional sleeves.
