the instructions are really good for this. but I found some bugs. when I went to program my vfd the instructions say change the number to 153 i think. well I tried but the number would roll back to one after 79. I was thinking this was because I changed it to display rpms and not freq.
well after a few attempts and power downs some reason I was able to change it. I think it was the second number changed that fixed it. any way
the weird thing is if you go to check it it shows 1.
computer found it but it could not find the comport number. I was also looking in the wrong spot I was looking under the usb hub. once I got that it works well.
this is a nice little gadget but I think it is a bit overpriced for what it is.
but it is nice to have the speed displayed both on the computer and the vfd and to be able to change it in both places.
using it to do a spindle warmup is the best thing I always forget to change the speed while it is running and forgot to turn it off till it turns off on it's own.
