I put my new PRS alpha together without problems, set up my BradyVAC system and cut my first few files.
I spend so much time in the shop Diane named it "Betty Bot" and claims it is my new girl friend.
Did anyone else name their shopbot?

Mine is named LOLA. It is off the movie RV with Robin Williams in it. My wife says I am spending too much time with LOLA and is getting jealous.

My wife named it the shebot.
I think she felt she had been replaced for a while.

Congratulations Ernie. Now, post some photos of those great signs.
My ShopBot has been called several names, usually when it does something strange because I gave it the wrong command.

I just got my Sign Council calendar, I see you are a winner. Great Job!
How did you make the star? It looks like iron.

Just to let you all know Pedro has undergone a tripple bypass ( 7.2.1 upgrade) For a while i was not sure he was going to make it, ( me being the surgeon) but i would like to say he is making a slow recovery , for a while his #4 wouldnt clear so i confered with Dr. Chris at the neuroligical center for the advancement of bots @ N.C. and after a few consultations we did brain surgery.(3.5.5)that cleared #4 just to reveal that he had a z zero recognition problem , After showing him photos of things from his past he remembered things again , and decided to act right,( I think he heard me say 1 more thing and its to the junkyard you go ) the next thing is to refresh his memory so he can remember to cut at a constant depth. he keeps forgetting this .I know its fri and he's probably tired so i might let him rest for the weekend and see how he feels on monday. Just for fun i might leave the cutting torch by him for the weekend.. lets all hope he makes a full and speedy recovery, Youre prayers will be appreciated .. Thanks Gene

Ernie - thanks. The star in the center of that sign is cast aluminum from King Architectural Metals (that we gold leafed). I had orginally designed it with an oval piece of stained glass in the middle to match some transom glass in the building, but there is a junior high school just about two blocks from there and I thought that stained glass would make too much of a target.
