View Full Version : Getting CNC vids to play on a Mac.

well I just got the control sw & cnc vid cd & I've tried as much as I know to get the cd to play, I havent put Parallels on yet to run control SW, but I ought to be able to view the cd without that ??? TIA Neville - PS I dont want to have to admit a Mac was a bad idea Neville

What kind of files are the movies?? .AVI? You just need to get 'flip4mac' player, it's free. Microsoft.com has it.

WMV, i tried a VLC, no joy ;-(

If they are WMV you might need a different player:

Or once you get Parallels you can just watch them with Microsoft's media player.

I have a number of Macs and use the flip4mac player for WMV files ... works just fine. For things that need to execute on Windows XP, Parallels is an awesome solution.
