I am looking for a supplier for polyester pre-glued and pre-stained edgebanding. Like the fastcap stuff, but hot glue.
Most places seem to sell real wood, unstained. I'm just using fake melamine oak, so I don't want to go to the trouble of staining the banding.
Any recommendations?

We stain our own. Get a 36" diameter cardboard concrete column form about 72" long to make a staining reel. Put plywood ends on it with holes for a pipe shaft to spin it on. Roll up your pre-glued edging on it. 72" will hold about 500lf of edge. Stain and finish on the same reel. It helps to cover the cardboard with a sticky-backed peel and stick. You can get it 48" wide from Bron Tapes. You can't coun't on anyone to get you custom stained edging in a timely manner.

Mike...
We use PureBond from Columbia Forest Products. They have about 60 species/prefinish combinations with preglued (hot) and non glued prefinished edgeband to match. Hopefully you have a dealer in your area. Ours is DixiePly.

Try Edgeco, There in bayshore ny and are reasonable, if you need alot ask where the price breaks are. I know if you get 10 rolls it gets cheaper , my last order was 30 rolls preglue and with shipping to Ga it was around 500. Edgecoinc.com or 1 800 488 5441 or 1800 644-6449 If its made they will have the color to match
