View Full Version : First cuts!
I was pulling my hair out til late last night at the shop trying to figure out why I was not connecting to my machine. Had estimates most of the early part of the day. I finally got back to the shop, gave Shopbot a call and in a few minutes I was up and running.
The minute the keyboard was working the cnc I couldnt wait to start playing.
Heres a cut in mdf from a DXF of my company logo..

Mine too. I have a question maybe you can answer. There wire from the control box to the spindle. It has a red and black wire on the inside. Where did you hook those wires to? I am re-reading insructions, but cannot find it.

Danny, I realize this is not the ideal time to tell you, but you may want to reconsider moving the control box. In that location it is going to be constantly buried in shavings and dust. Without too much issue it can be mounted under the table, or on a nearby wall.

Is your router an alpha or standard?
I'm in agreement with relocating that control box, also keep it away from vibration
Prsalpha..
Yeah, I am thinking I will turn the control box around
