OK, it's not much, but I got this old non-running cable style shopbot a few weeks ago, got it running and have just started playing with it. I've made a few typesetter signs but without documentation, it has been a slow road. Looking for something to gain some experience, I bought TurboCad and worked on my first photo tracing mini-project. OK - it's pretty simple - and I'm sure boring for you long-time shopbotters - but it was fun for me.

Good Job Scott!

Old ShopBotters don't get tired of seeing the new guys work. You are on the right track with that machine.

I am looking forward to more pictures of your projects.

My first attempts were far simpler than yours. Excelent Job!

Thanks, it's been fun. Unfortunately, there is a down side - I seemed to be hooked. I'm already thinking - how could I upgrade, and - what is my cable drive shopbot worth? Silly things like that. I am also looking at signing up with Ron and at rgengravers, so that I can hopefully get some pointers (and projects).
