I bought a used 3hp Columbo spindle and Delta VFD.
I do not have the wire to connect the spindle to the VFD.
Could someone who has a 3hp spindle tell me what type and size wire is used?
Does anyone have a users manual in PDF form for the Columbo?

Thanks

I bought a used 3HP Perski and had the same problem.
I was told on this forum to use shielded wire. Beldon makes several types. I could not find a local supplier so I used armored cable I bought from H.D.
Three wires 10ga has worked fine.
The fan on my spindle is mounted on the shaft so I did not need to power it separately. You need to check how yours is set up.

Roger, "Home Depot" armored cable is not going to last very long unless each conductor is made up of a multitude of fine strands (in order to withstand the continual flexing while in service). If you look closely at the photo I posted,

you can see the finely stranded wire.

This is what the wireing looks like. If you post your email I can sent you the wireing diagram from the manuel. I copied it to PDF
