Spindle won't start

I just upgraded to a 2.2 HSD spindle on my Alpha. Spent an hour on the phone with SB and it still won't spin? To be honest I can't recall all what we tested/tried but at the end I couldn't change some of the programming on the controller. Is this ringing a bell with anyone? Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome!!

When you bring up the control page and flip he #1 switch on then push the start button on the big grey box does it come on then ? when i go to cut a file i open the shopbot control software and hit the k (for keyboard ) flip the #1 toggle switch on , Make sure it is in cut/move mode, hit esc to get out of keyboard mode then i select the file i am cutting ,hit start on the keyboard then it prompts me to push the start button on the control box and click ok . Hope this helps

We tried both 1 and 2 outputs with no success. Even tried to jump the brown wire with no success.

Just a thought. Have you got the correct Post P selected? Other than that, same as Gene.

Thanks guys for the input! In the end it was a fellow botter that helped me with the thought process!! This community is just plain awesome!!

Ok so it would appear that my box may be wired slightly different the instructions show and while there was power to the VFD it was taking from the correct location. Once Nevelle and I discussed the wiring in greater detail and exchanged a couple pics it all came together.

I can't wait to muddle through the air drill install
I think Shop bot needs to fire thier tech writer!!!
