Tear out with maple.

More often than not I am getting some tear out while V carving acute angles on 1" tall Century fonts using a 1/2" 60 deg cutter pm maple boards.
Speeds are .8 for xy and 1 for Z?

Are their key fonts to use as best practice or can this be controlled.
