I did a search and most articles i read only dealt with how to make them. Does anyone have a good idea of what 1/4" corian would cost? I have seen one quote for around $300 for approx. 4'x8' is that about right? Any good specific sources?

Jack,
I was able to get some 1/2" cut offs from a local counter top maker for $8.00 sq. ft.
Now they have already charged someone else for the material, so anything they make is pure profit.

Jack: Many of us have found that by going to the fabricators who do lot's of business you can get cutouts and scraps for free. The other thing is that the use of 1/4" has declined in some areas. I have gotten in the habit of starting with 1/2" pieces and pocketing it out to 1/4" which leaves an attractive frame around the piece and then cut the litho from there. I use a heavier straight bit for the "pocketing" and it only takes a couple of minutes.

I found a local guy who sold me (approx. 12"x12") pieces for $2.00/ea. I guess thats the next best price to free and much better than the average price of around $8.00-$10.00/sq ft quoted by some members. This was for 1/4" white.
