Machine says it moved farther than my table size. What?

Hello. I'm just starting and trying to do everything the manual says. When I use the keypad control I moved the spindle to the 00 position and then all the way to the opposite corner and the readout said X146.651 Y80.721 I don't know why it would say this it is only a 120x60. Thanks for your help.

Check your 'Unit Values'. Make they are correct for the model shobot you have.

How do I know what the values are supposed to be?

It will be in your control software or you can search the forum. I would give you a step by step for the software but I don't have a copy of it in front of me.

If I open the software and go to unit values and hover the arrow over the x unit values a little window pops up and says default= and a number is that what the value is supposed to be?

If you go to where you have installed the control software and following the directory tree down:

C:\ShopBot\ShopBot3\Settings\PRS ShopBot\

and pick the model you have, run the file and it will set all your unit values for your machine.
