I am in an area where it now is in the 50's at nite and wondered how long i need to let a gel stain sit before it dries?

It should be dry to the touch in a couple of hours. Do you mean dry enough to put a top coat on?

What does it say on the can? If you double that time for the cold temps you should be OK.

"Instructions....we don't need no stinking instructions"...lol.
Even with a magnifying glass I couldn't read it. However since i asked the question yesterday i'm sure it is dry today.
I have had coatings that never seem to dry and the two coats seem to just mix and make a globby mess and since i had never used a gel stain i was concerned. Thanks David.
