Imported a TIFF file and PW locked up?

I tried to import a scanned image in the form of a TIFF file. When I highlighted the image and then clicked on the TRACE BITMAP PartWorks locked up. Any ideas? I have always imported JPG files and never had any issues. maybe it is because it is a TIFF file?

TIFF should work. I have used them. How large is the file?

If you imported a TIFF and PW locked up.. send a copy of the TIFF to Vectric, I'm certain they would be interested in analyzing what went wrong. Espceially if the image causes the program to wedge every time.

TIFF is not a single file format, it is a large family of formats, the specifics of the file you have may reveal a unique flaw Vectric needs to know about..

Call their tech support or email and attach the file.
