Getting ill is one thing; Surviving two months in a hospital is ... well ... nothing short of a miracle.

In a book I'm reading (The China Study), it quotes an article from JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association), wherein the writer has statistics showing that, due to errors in surgery and unexpected drug reactions, deaths in hospitals are actually quite high, making 'hospital stays' the fifth largest cause of death in the USA.

I just thought I'd relay this to cheer up anybody going into the hospital.

Well after all the pins in my neck and back and knees I will never be able to enter an airport without setting something off

Ron...that only happens in 'maximum harassment' airports like Miami...I've got rods in my back.
