Yeah, I know, I've been down this road before last year at Atlanta but this time I have to go, the tickets are bought, and it sure isn't hurricane season! My other half and I will be arriving Thursday early evening and leaving Sunday AM. We are seeing a show Sat eve but Friday dinner could be a hit for anyone who wants to get together and shoot the -------.
Staying at Hilton and will certainly be checking in at SB booth.
So who's up?

I'm plan on driving up Thursday after work and leaving Sunday morning.
I think I will stay at state line, Whiskey Pete's or Buffalo Bills. Friday night dinner with some of the ShopBot forum members would be interesting.
Maybe we should all meet at the ShopBot booth at a specific time on Friday.

I just got room reservations through www.i4vegas.com (http://www.i4vegas.com) at the Sahara for about $27/night for a non-smoking room. Seems like a pretty decent price. I'm looking forward to the show.

Dave, we'll be there, drop by and say hello, its a long time since we last got together. Vector Art 3D will be at booth #8849, right next to the guys from Vectric and pretty close to SB.
Cheers,
James

James-I already noted your booth location. Roger and Joe: Let's see how the list grows and we can decide where to meet. There are definately some good bargain price rooms around. Since I won't have a car I opted for next door to the center. Too much walking in Vegas in mid July is against my principles!!

I am going to fit in a stopover on Wednesday & Thursday - gotta be back on a plane noon Friday so if anyone is around then I'd love to meet. I'll certianly stop by the Shopbot and Vectric areas.

I think many of the hotels have free shuttles to the convention center. That's what I was told about the Sahara where I'm staying by some other friends who are staying there as well. I agree, Las Vegas is a miserable place to be in the summer. I talked to a friend who lives there last week and it was 105 and humid. It should be much better in July. I can understand why they moved the show from Anaheim, CA to Las Vegas. The mid 70s weather outside Disneyland is just too darn nice to be indoors.

I'll be there Thursday afternoon through Sat. morning - staying at the Sahara. Dinner Fri. evening with fellow Shopbotters is a great idea -I'm in.

I hear it is the usual "really hot" in Vegas.
I'll be at the show all day Friday only.
I hope someone sets up a sign up sheet at the ShopBot booth for dinner on Friday night.
The wife used her gambling points and we got a room at Whiskey Pete's at state line for free Thursday night and $24 Friday night. Not bad.
Now if I can stay away from the craps table it may be a cheap trip.
Maybe if I did go to the craps table it would be a free trip. No, small chance.
