Where did this start? Where do I find the complete start to finish setup info?
I did a search but the info seems all broke up.

John,
There is various information scattered in this forum on the subject. Keep in mind that one person's needs are very different from another person's needs as it relates to vacuum hold down. If you describe your machine (size) and what you intend on cutting on the machine, including average size, I can help guide you in the right direction.

Thanks,
My 4x8 bot with columbo spindle is mostly used for making channel letters and routed sign faces, carved signs and sign elements.
I need to hold down .040 aluminum sheet for letter backs, 1/8 and 3/16 acrylic for faces and neon sign backers, mdf for carved indoor signs, and all sorts of things for outddor signs... dibond, sign foam, MDO, etc.
I also will be making retail sales counters of melamine on a regular bases.
All of my channel letter work is larger pieces... rarely cutting letters smaller than 15" high. The counters are also large pieces mostly.. usually only getting 4-5 pieces from a 4x8 melamine sheet. Smallest might be sign elements to be applied to carved signs... like cut out letters, or designs that are to be surface applied to a signs base either carved, profile cut, and/or pocketed for the various elements.
So I guess I am all over the place. Any suggestions appreciated.
