I'm working on a prototype sign and want to backlight a lithopane type picture and wondered if anyone has used any bright solar lights to try to light some type of sign either backlit or otherwise.

What you need to do is get a compass and mark the angle of the suns path and then divide it by 3.14 to get the square root of the circular angles set right to the tregectory of the maxinium amount of the sun rays . Times it by 2 if this is going to be a 2 sided sign . ( skip this step if only a 1 sided) after that add the amount of the height of the sign to the width and make sure to place it in the sun. Hope this helps . You got me on April 1 ,
