I don't find it in their online catalog, but Staples stores offer the Omnitech flexible keyboard for just $10.
If you'd like a DUST-PROOF, liquid-proof, and washable keyboard, take a look at this one.
It's made of silicone and has a USB connection (plus a USB to PS/2 adapter).
You can roll it up and store it in a 3-5/8" diameter tube; it makes a good travel keyboard.

If you don't find it at your Staples store, you can get it on eBay:

If you don't want something like the above mentioned keyboards why not find those thin molded plastic keyboard covers you find in restaurants that keep employees greasy fingers from ruining the keyboards and they just take them off and throw away.

I just wrap mine in Saran Wrap. Costs almost nothing.

If inexpensive is relative for you... or you just convince a relative...

I got one of the staples keyboards about a month ago. It seems to be completely dust proof and still has a rather good "touch and feel". I recommend it.

most all keyboards now are sealed switches. Just blow off the dust with the compressor every once in a while and they will be fine.

EXCEPT....when you do blow the letters off don't use a direct blast close by or you will be hunting for the keys all over the shop...don't ask....!!

We use the silicon, "roll-up" keyboards for our water jet cutter and for our big Northwood CNC. Considering all the water flying about in the vicinity of those two, it was a no-brainer.
