Lost ZZero ability

I've now lost my zzero function. I see the light come on on the display when plate touches bit, but z continues to travel downward. I suspect it has something to do with my recent clean install. I installed XP Pro, and then followed the Black Viper?? guide for a lean install. I disabled all of the items it discribed for a power user, I think. Since then I've also lost the ability to "Control R" to repeat a cut file. Any one seen this before after disabling a number of functions in Windows?

I've been running XP with BV configurations for years. Have 2 now with XPPro & SB3, all is well. Which configuration did you use? If you think you have a problem (tho I doubt it) go from bare bones (my choice) back to Power user. You can then step back to safe. Or even to OEM. My guess is that you will find the problem elsewhere.

Thanks Gary...I did back off to Safe, cleaned SB completly out and reloaded. Initially SB said it could not find c:\program file\shopbot\virtual tools\setup\exitsb.sbp. I repeatedly recieved this error message but at one point just closed that window and things seemed to progress normal, but seemingly backwards. Ran the locate proximity switches and now all is good. Do wish I could know for sure what was going on! Thanks again.
