Changing a standard to an Alpha - cabinet

Has anyone changed out the PC style cabinet out for an openable style like the Alpha cabinets? Reason is I'd like to mount the control cabinet on the side of a BT & I understand with the PC stlye that is not practical. TIA

Hey Neville,

There was a BT standard in the development section at ShopBot a while back, and I think they just screwed a piece of plywood to the table legs (on the side that the Alpha box mounts on). Then they removed the "back" side cover of the standard control box, screwed it to the plywood, and then slid the control box back onto that side panel so that it hung from that side panel.

You wouldn't get the dust-free features of the Alpha box, but it would be simple to do and cheap!
