How accurate is Part wizard estimated time

Was curious how accurate Partwizard estimated time is. Also, is there a way to make initial pass of 3d profile slower, then ramp up. INitial pass will take off more wood then rest of 3 d profiling.

Also, how fast and what step over do you use for Oak or other hardwoods and 1/8th bit
