This is what I do. I write down the position when it stops X,Y,Z and line number. Make sure you are at the coordinates you wrote down. Click file, click go to, Choose your file like normal, a different screen will then come up to let you enter the line number and click on start from there. Disclaimer I am telling you this all from memory.

Be very careful with this. If the Line number you start at has a negative z value the router will move to that z as it moves to the x and y coordinates, this could result in you plowing through the workpiece on your way to the starting point.
When it stops like that, the first thing I do is write down the x,y,and z coordinates and line number. I always keep a notepad and pen closeby the router.
You can then do one of two things:
restart your SB program, do a m2 (at safe z height) to the x and y coords you have written down, THEN start your cut file in the goto mode and go to the line number you wrote down and restart.

Silly me...
Breakfast was ready and I didn't complete my thought and now I can't edit my message...
cont. from above:
OR
you can find the closest line number before the line number (you want to restart from) that has the z at safe Z height, then restart from that line number.
Sorry for the disjointed thoughts...

Hi Again had to restart from beginning this time about 1/3 of the way through it stopped so I wqrote the location down but there was no line # !!! The file is a big one so it is split into 7 / 20000 files So I assume it is in between one of them. How can i bring up the (go to from) I have it at the x-y-z- location but donot know how to restart from there !!! Help thanks Don

You can see the line number in the control software window.
FG I think is the command, or go to the File menu and there is a selection for file-run (go to line #)
It will bring up another little dialog window where you put in your line number, then watch the control software window and it will scroll through the file line by line (quickly) until it gets to the line # you entered, be SURE it's the correct line you want to start from, then select "run from here" in the dialog window.
Why does your file keep stopping?

Have you tried running this file in demo mode?
