Danny, I am cutting doors using part wizard. Mostly out of Trupan Ultralight but some MDF. Works pretty well except for the fuzzies it leaves on the edges, but a light sanding with 180 grit takes care of that.

There is a little program that some of us Shopbotters use to cut MDF doors. It's a free program developed by one fine guy, Bruce Clark, and one old reprobate, Mike Richards. It think that it's called FreeDoors. A few hundred copies have been handed out. I don't know about others, but I've make a few thousand doors with it.

Mike,
Funny you should mention that program. I was talking to the wife yesterday about trying to dig up a copy to use on a project to add cabinets to the new shop addition.
I would be interested in a copy as well.
PLEASE,

Geeze guys, I'd hate to be left out. My shop cabinets need doors. I'm very curious about how the finished doors look. Just by chance does anyone have pictures??? Bonus points for "in-process" images.

Is there room left for me to jump on this bandwagon?
Could someone post the program for download?

For those who haven't tried FREEDOORS yet, you will like it. Mike did a great job getting it accomplished with some easy settings, nice versatility, and effective results.
Try it, You'll Like it and best of all it will get you doors designed and run all for FREE thanks to Mike's generosity and skill.

What router bits do I need to get to use the free doors program to cut the doors on my SB?

I use a 3/8-inch 2-flute straight cutter to cut the grooves and the perimeters, a 90-degree V-bit (usually 1-inch diameter, but you only cut about 1/4-inch deep) for the V-cuts, and a 5/8-inch radius round nose for the cove cuts
