Just curious.. Is October your slow month as well or is it the housing market?

My wife always brings me out 5 calendars showing me down time in OCT (only month out of the year)

but I can never get used to it.

So I turned christian and got baptised, to see if that works lol


Anyways, any other cab Companies get slow in OCT?

October was always the start of my busiest time of the year. Everyone was wanting their new kitchen to be done by Thanksgiving. It would start to slow down for me at the end of March and then nothing in April. After April it would become steady until the October rush.

In our market, which is a bit of a niche market in the commercial world, Oct is usually the end of the fiscal year for many companies. They're out of money and waiting for new budgets. Right now we're doing lots of bids and working mostly for another group of customers who are always busy right near the end of the year. That's why I try to stay in multiple markets!
