We got the bot home last weekend and got it running on Tue. well I thought I would post a couple of pics.

So Tim how are you liking the bot compared to the CW? (you'll love the fact that you don't deal with all those annoying error codes anymore) You are off to a great start. Keep on carvin.

I just used screws to hold down with one in each corner.
I like it alot because even though it is slower than the cw it is way more reliable and therfore will output more. the only issues I have had so far are my own fault by trying to run faster than the machine liked to go.

Tim I'm impressed with the logo on the imacs sign. That's a fairly fine line for pine. Curious how you accomplished that without tear out. My experience has been "especially in soft woods" that a fine raised line tends to grab and tear out in spots.
Your finished cut is pretty clean too. Much sanding?

hey Bill, the imacs logo is not raised nearly as much as the letters I too am impressed that it did not break out, grateful is more like it.
there was enough sanding especially on the outside i used a scroll saw and had to stay away from the edge as to not bugger it up.
