I was given a DC that needs to have the filter bags replaced due to mouse damage. I cannot find the MFG (Reliant WN 720) or any reference to them and, so far, I have been unable to find a secondary source that has this type of filter (although one would think it should be easy)
The bags are 44"circumference, 24" long, with a flat bottom and with 4 "belt loops" ea 2"H and 1" wide. I do not know the micron meas.
Does anyone know of a source?

Thnx Gene:

Lots of refs on the 2nd site so I should be able to find someone who has something close. I will start tomorrow-Mon with the first ref and then move on to the multiple "list".

I called the American Filter ref you gave and they had the specs of my DC in their system. Also, a nice surprise, they answered my call with a live knowledgeable person on my first try. I ordered the replacement bags.

In addition I visited you web site and it looks like you have an interesting array of nice work that you do.

You saved me a lot of anguish and time so, thnx again.

I have the same dust collector and have been pleased with it. The only adjustment I needed to make was that the spinning vein inside the metal housing would just touch the outside housing and make a clanging sound. I am sure that with the clanging sound would be a small spark here and there.....

I readjusted the vein on the shaft and has worked perfectly ever since. I know that you could have gotten bags at Grizzley also. They have good prices on hoses, and plastic connector pieces, gates...

My system uses plastic gates, pvc pipe and an internal + external grounding wire without issue for several years.

I appreciate the info as I am setting up this DC now for 2 pieces of equipment and am looking for more parts.

Wow, looks like you have a setup that is beyond anything that I "was" thinking of - something to think about.

Also, glad to hear that reliant DC works OK.

I had to have really good filtration because of all of the tropicals I worked with. I got enough bags that it was almost triple the surface area required so I could leave the cake on and i would get really good filtration.

I have a simple Harbor Freight dust collector. I dumped the cloth filter and went with a Wynn Environmental washable filter that sits on top.

The filter is excellent.

Thnx for the info. The DC stuff is all a new experience for me as I avoided the idea as just being too cumbersome etc. to deal with. But, now that I have had experience with a Harbor Freight device on the Bot I am now interested in equipping the rest of my shop and your ref to better filters is helpful.

Les,

I purchased a 9E110SB Filter. It is more than your average cloth filter but it is washable and collect very fine stuff. On there site they have information on how to make a donute to hold the filter and other useful information. You can cut it on your machine. If you have any questions, drop me a PM.
