where i live it is pretty hard to get my hands on trupan so i want to make sure that i do not make any mistakes on the process in creating my vacumn table.
i have placed a 1" sheet of us ply as a base and glued a 3/4" ply on top of that.
i need advice on how to proceed so i do not waste the limited trupan i have.
thanks

What are you planning on cutting?
What type of vacuum (brand/HP) are you running?
Do you want zones? How many?
These are important questions...and in the vacuum game, one size fites nobody...

Martin , trupan is the bleeder layer which will likely get cut into over time and need to be resurfaced ... meaning you need a ready supply of this stuff NOT 1 sheet . The 3/4" ply is where you will cut your plenum pattern to distribute the vacuum over the surface of your table . I am using the lightweight MDF as Trupan is not available here as many are I believe . But as Brady says you need to be clear about what you are cutting to get better direction . Thanks to Brady I used his routing to create my plenum pattern for cutting cabinet parts and it works great with two Fein's as described elsewhere here .
