Ralph,
I just happen to stumble upon that video and was amazed at the workings of how that table works. I don't think i have the ability to make a table like that (or a place to put it if i did) but it is very cool. How long did it take you to make your table? I found a forum for that table and was going to read more on it just because i think its neat.

I looked at that table before. Where in the heck do you get the hardware for it?

Theresa,
start here for instructions on how to make one and go thru it and you might find a specific link for the hardware(I just found this link).

Jack,

The table you show in the blog is not the table you show on you tube. Similar but the mechanics for the you tube table are all stainless and far more sophisticated than the one shown on the blog site. This table has been shown on the web for over three years. I have spent countless hours looking at every detail of the you tube table and the mechanics that went into it. The first one has leaves that place themselves without assist. The second one requires you to put the leaves in like a normal dining table in you home. While the second example is good, the first one is amazing.

Hi,
I just made the wooden parts (the Utube one), they took over 300 hours and a lot of headache. The hardware is all purpose made and very clever. I understand that the next step is an electrically actuated one.

I'm sure this is a very expensive table to make. However if you can afford the yaught that it's located in the price of the table is of no consequence.
