i attended the may 07 west coast jamboree in san francisco and watch bill young cut out some wooden car racers.
i remember he used 1/2 inch ply but do not remember the dememsions of the material. does anyone have the demensions to cut out the racer.

The shopbot racer with plans and all is in "project wizard". Do a search for project wizard and you should find it along with many other neat things.

Hi Martin,
If you're cutting them out of 5'x5'x1/2" baltic birch then the individual blanks should be 12" x 20" and you can get 15 blanks out of a sheet. If you are using 4'x8'x1/2" sheets then you can get 20 blanks out of a sheet...12" wide by 19.2" long.
