After 5 or on the weekend. How frustrating.

Is anyone available at SB to sell it? I even called the UK. I wonder if this is a foreshadowing of what support would be like ...

Bot: Done! Design: Done! Cut file: Purgatory

If the design is done, then what is preventing you from cutting it? What did you design it in? Why can't you toolpath it in PartWorks 2D or 3D?

Not everyone works on the weekend...and I wouldn't say that not being able to buy something over the weekend is any indication of bad support.

I did it in the aspire trial. I would agree about the support. I was thinking 'out loud'. I have based my desire to have the software on those that are here on the forums remarks and my experience.

Joe you seem to suffer from a malady that strikes most of us, it's called:

I-want-what-i-want-when-i-want-it-itis lol

Get another computer and reload the demo to get 30 more days. You may need to set up a new email account and a different name, or even do it at your friends house, but once you get it, export the file.

Then you can buy it on Moday!

Cheers,

Joe,

I have found Vectric support to be nothing short of awesome!

My understanding is that the trial software will not allow you to export the design to another Aspire user. If you buy Aspire, you will be able to read and use the files you created in the trial version (if you use the same computer).

I'm sure you can verify this on the vectric forum.

Joe,
Paul Z is correct with his post.
I've also heard some making their purchase via the website, then being emaild a download link for the registered version with the license.
Then receiving the DVD in the mail with in the next week.
But I can't confirm this.

Support is phenomenal.

I've found the best response is through email and you have to be aware they do sleep on occasion. I've never caught them sleeping but I do hear it happens every 40 or 50 hours :-)

Now how is that for support? Not only Saturday ,but saturday evening.

Joe,

What were you doing all last week say monday through friday 9 to 5? I heard Shopbot was sitting by the phone waiting for your call but it never came. So they got bored and went home for the weekend. Shame on them I guess?

It always amazes me the amount of phone calls I get on the weekends also. People think because you are on the web or a small business then you have to be on call 24-7 I guess?

Try batty people :-) If you are on the web AND a small business AND a bat conservationist... they'll just show up at your front door on Sunday afternoon and want to chat. True story. Then, for an added bonus... they'll buy nothing.

If you took that as a flame you must be new to forums. More of a Reality check?

I have actually been in technical forums since 1996. I suppose the easy going atmosphere on this forum has made me sensitive. So if that wasn't a flame it seemed to have a slight smoky smell

Brady called me on how the post sounded first and I did agree with him.

Jack really hit it on the head and I seconded it
