Does anyone have a great design for a dust skirt for the PRT alpha system.

I have the one that came with the machine. It is now broken into two pieces? Don't know how but noticed it tonight when changing bits. I looked on the shopbot site but did not see a new one for sale. I will call tomorrow.

Anyhow I have seen some home Brewed dust skirts in the past. Does anyone have a picture of their setup they would like to share with me? If I do not find a better design I will have to make a new one myself if it's not available from shopbot anymore?

They're still available (at least when I got one a few months ago.) I wouldn't mind seeing some more pictures of setups myself. I have a Plain old PRT with a PC router and the thing is a bear to adjust up and down with my big ol' hands on that tight little space. It's already gotten damaged from bolts coming loose. had to patch it up with some vinyl, lexan and screws laying around the shop.

Dave, you can repair your stock dust foot with some thick cyanoacrylate glue and some "kicker" to speed up the cure time. That's what I've done with mine.

Called Shopbot and ordered the plastic clear part only. $26.00 for the clear part seemed like it was easier than spending time trying to build something new.

Thanks for the replies though,
