Move Speeds in Manual Mode

My question is why when in manual mode "k" does my feed max out at 4.00, am I missing something or is this the way is programmed? I'm trying out some cutters with variable chiploads and it would be nice if I could do it in manual mode. Any thoughts?

I noticed the same thing in the 3.5.X Beta 20 release I am running now.

Keyboard mode (at least with the Beta 20) tops out at 4.00 move and 8.00 jog. Industry and safety standards I guess.

Ed, do you run Beta in production and how is it going so far regarding curve smoothing and other enhancements? Each time I download betas, I get loaded under jobs (not complaining here!) and I can't find the time to test and play with...

Whenever one have concern about SB3 (stable and betas), one should report observations to SB support. I think it's OK to discuss SB3 (betas) here but if SB RD department never hear from you then they just wont know... my two 2 cents (Yeah, even with the currency conversion!)...
