About once a year we issue a call to all ShopBotters to help us spread the word about what ShopBot and CNC are all about. Again, for our 2009 print advertising campaign, we're looking to feature our outstanding ShopBotters.
Who's an outstanding ShopBotter? It's not only the woodworker building high-end custom cabinetry or the signmaker creating complex dimensional signs. It's also the ShopBotter who cuts out hundreds of the same widget, or the person who has finally decided to learn how to use a computer. It's the everyday craftsman and the 20-person-shop owner. If you love what your ShopBot helps you make, we'd love to hear from you. Our ads run in most of the major woodworking and signmaking publications as well as Make, Robot and a few you may not have heard of.
What does it take to be a featured ShopBotter? Just send me an email at dave.m@shopbottools.com (mailto:dave.m@shopbottools.com). Tell me who you are and the name of your company. How long you've been doing what you're doing and how you got there. What type of ShopBot you own, how long you've owned it and any other details you may want to include. Send a few photos if you'd like.
If selected, I'll ask you for a few more high-resolution photos, including ONE OF YOURSELF and maybe your tool in action or your finished product. Your face, your tool and your website and/or phone number will accompany your story in a national or international publication. The ad won't run until you approve it, and best of all, it's FREE (And we all know ShopBotters love freebies).
There are also opportunities to be featured on our website and in our newsletters, and magazine editors are constantly looking for story leads. This is the perfect chance to gain some exposure for yourself or your company.
So, drop me a line and tell me about you and your ShopBot.
