Charles, blue acrylic paint, wire brushed, black glaze. I increased the stepover to 12%..."grabs" the glaze better.

RIB...its a prt type z, R&P...did you ever get new pinion gears for your pr? My z pinion is 18T .5" shaft and I am having a heckufa time finding that...may need to go to a 20T gear which means a more mods.Still trying to get the job...designer loves the frame but no deposit yet...http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7703

I have not replaced the pinions. I will probably just use the ones I have for now...

I have also bought a 4G box and have not installed it yet.

I am not so interested in spending time with my machine anymore...too many bugs and problems. I have other interests that are more rewarding at this point...I will get back at it as I just got a pc to run the new box, and that will be a good start. I will also need a new Z at some point and take Mark Richards advice and build some gearboxes for my motors. I will also have to put some angle iron rails on and perhaps some other stuff... for now that is just way more than I want to do.
