I have downloaded the trial software and have been playing with it.

I am having trouble importing a file from Adobe Illustator CS3. I have saved it as a .ai and a .esp but it tells me that it is not a vector file. I am stumped.

Save it as version 3 and it should work fine.

In illustrator you can also export as a dxf file use the export option under file.
