Here is what I have finally finished. It's a Distributor Testing Machine. Like the old SUN machines but better. The Panel is cut from Dibond, the cabinet is from Color-Core. I cut the backside of the CC with a V bit down to about .060" then heated and bent the CC to make the center of the cabinet 1 piece. The sides are then attached with C/S machine screws.

Yes I am selling these units. My main markets are OEM manufactures and NASCAR engine builders.
The machine has stirred quite a bit of interest from the whole performance racing industry.
It's been a long road as I designed and drew every part of this project. The original cabinet was hand made from MDF and covered with Formica and took almost a week to complete. With my trusty ShopBot I can build 2 cabinets a day! And they are MUCH better quality.

Nice work Tom and super design/fabrication strategy. I love the miter fold box design especially in using color core. terriffic thought process in your design. Its given me another inspiring technique to consider in the future. Thanks for posting

Tom, That looks great! I know what you mean by "Thanks Shopbot!" I couldn't build bat houses fast enough without mine. I've often fretted over doing more things, better things and really should take the time to be more creative... but in the end it is doing what I want and with consistent quality.

Find something you can enjoy making and make money doing... then do it!

Thanks Jerry, that means alot.
I cut 2 of them (from the backside) out of a 4X8 sheet.
Then I have 3 sets of dowles and my vac grid to do the Back, Face and Front.
One of the cool things is there is a snap in power connector/switch (like the back of a PC)on the side. I struggled with this in the MDF prototype, but was able to get the connector/switch to just snap in on this unit.
I also cut the degrees on the ring with a .015" end mill (don't drop it!!)

Tom, It looks luke you used brushed aluminum for the mounting plate that has the digital readouts on it? Did you engrave the lettering on there or is that labels? Any specifics on the making of that part? Great Job!

The display is made from Dibond. It is .125" thick.
I cut it with a straight 2 flute 1/16" bit
13,000 RPM, .0625" step down per pass. 1.66 IPS.
Dibond cuts great and is really cool stuff.
I made up 10 and had them silk screened.
