Due to my customer base I am unable to share much of my finished work but here's one I can.
A newel post to match the mantel corbels
36"x 4 1/2" will be installed under the down easing of the wrought iron handrail.
I will post an installed photo when available.

What was your machining strategy with that piece? It wasn't done on an indexer, I don't think? It kind of looks like a feather design laid on there. How long did that take to cut?

Jack for this particular file it was quicker and easier to do as mirrored copies then glue up. Acutally the feathered design is a standard flourish for that style of corbel, you will see it better when I get an installed photo.
cut time was a little over an hour per side
